Michael Weiss is Vice President and General Manager of Jacobs Technology's Aerospace Testing and Facilities Operations and Maintenance (ATOM) contract, located at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, CA. The ATOM Group provides aerospace testing and facility operations in support of various wind tunnel and thermo-physics test facilities for Ames' Wind Tunnel Operations and Space Technology Divisions. In this role, Mike is responsible for overall contract performance and the day-to-day operations of a highly technical team of 150+ employees who support the maintenance and operations of all wind tunnels and arc jet facilities at Ames. Since joining Jacobs Technology in 1998, Mike has supported testing for the Constellation Program and Shuttle Return-to-Flight Mission; and has worked with NASA and the USAF to re-establish the National Full-Scale Aerodynamic Complex. Mike started at NASA Ames in 1979 and worked in a variety of roles, including: Administrative Services Manager, Facility Branch Manager, and Compressor Plant Complex Supervisor. He has spent his entire career supporting NASA's mission to provide research, development, and commercial testing support in an effort to improve overall aerospace testing capabilities. Mike earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from University of Phoenix in 2000 and is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
