The Ames Contractor Council (ACC) takes great pleasure in announcing the 11th Annual Contractor Safety Awards. The Ames Contractor Council Safety Award recognizes individuals working on support service contracts and contractor companies that excel in the area of safety. The Ames Contractor Council Safety Award is a competitive process that assesses contractors' safety program excellence and safety contributions by individuals that go above and beyond their normal daily duties. Please take the time to nominate a deserving individual as well as your company.
The Ames Center Director will join Contractor Council President Greg Hite in making the presentations during the Ames Contractor Council Excellence Award ceremony on:

All resident contractors, subcontractors, and grant administrators, of whatever size, are eligible to participate in this program.
Each year we present two awards; one for best company safety program, and one for an individual that goes above and beyond to ensure the safety of Ames personnel. Please take the time to nominate someone that is deserving of recognition for their great efforts.
Each firm may nominate one individual, and the company as a whole. For this purpose different operating units are considered as separate firms.
A copy of the Fiscal Year 2014 safety questionnaire is attached. We've tried to make it as brief and user-friendly as possible consistent with getting the information we need. Please contact any of the committee members if you have a question.
Completed questionnaires must reach the ACC Safety Outreach Committee Chair, Mike Weiss, not later than close of business Friday, October 17, 2014. We regret that in order to make production deadlines, we cannot accept questionnaires received after that date. Questionnaire submissions will be evaluated by your peers, so please allow time for this step in the process.
